Hogwarts Legacy for PC is a single-player action-adventure RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. Players take on the role of a newcomer to the iconic Hogwarts castle, beloved by fans of the books and movies. Set in the late 1800s, the game doesn’t feature characters from the original series, but familiar ghosts may appear to guide or hinder you.
Central characters include Victor Rookwood, a pre-Voldemort Dark Wizard leader; Professor Eleazar Fig, your form teacher and ally; and Ranrok, a rebellious goblin leader who distrusts all humans, especially wizards.
You start as a fifth-year student transferring to Hogwarts after a mysterious accident, discovering you hold the key to an ancient secret that could disrupt the wizarding world. Ranrok, hating all wizardkind, allies with Rookwood to obtain ancient magic, which wizardkind has hidden for its dangers. Unexpectedly, you turn out to be the key to unleashing this magic.
